Couple killed in Guernsey crash

Guernsey police are continuing their investigation into a car crash which killed two islanders.

27-year-old Stuart Moorat and 25-year-old Georgina Le Prevost died in the collision on the Perelle coast road on Friday night.

Guernsey Police are investigating after two people died in a road collision last night.

A 27 year-old man and 25 year-old woman died at the scene of the crash, which took place at around 11pm on the Perelle coast road, Rue du Catioroc.

Police investigators are working to determine the circumstances leading to the crash.

They say no other people or vehicles are thought to be involved.

The identity of the deceased will not be confirmed until all family members have been notified. Road traffic collision investigators are continuing their enquiries to determine the circumstances leading to the RTC. No other people or vehicles are thought to be involved at this stage. Post mortems will be carried out tomorrow and an inquest will be held in due course.
