Guernsey bus user numbers on the increase

The number of people taking the bus in Guernsey is on the increase.

Around 40,000 more people caught the bus between April and June this year than during the same period in 2016.

A total of 489,191 people travelled on the bus during these months - the highest it's been for the second quarter of the year since 2010.

Traffic and Highway Services say the use of Student travel cards is up, but there is also an increase in fare paying passenger numbers.
