Take That to perform in Jersey this autumn
Take That are set to perform in Jersey this September, after an islander paid more than £1,000,000 at auction to secure a private performance with the band.
Elaine Fairfax placed the winning bid, with proceeds going to Children in Need.
But she's now decided another charity should benefit as well, and will sell tickets to the performance to raise money for Durrell.
The band will perform at the Royal Jersey Showground on September 16 at Durrell's Rainforest Ball - a charity event to raise money to help preserve the habitat or orangutans in Sumatra.
There will be capacity for more than 500 people, made up of 55 tables of 10.
Tables cost £5,000 each and will be sold on a first come first serve basis.
