Guernsey Deputies to decide future of education system

Politicians in Guernsey could overturn plans to reform the island's education system later.

The previous States Assembly agreed to scrap selection for pupils at the age of 11 and reduce the number of island schools.

However, Deputies will debate whether the government should continue with those plans or choose to do something different, when they meet in today's States sitting.
