Jersey woman pays more than £1 million for Take That private concert
A Jersey business woman has paid out more than a million pounds for the chance to get close to her favourite stars of Take That.
Elaine Fairfax placed a winning bid at a charity auction for Children in Need for a live performance by the band.
Elaine, who lives in Jersey and is an avid fan, paid a total of £1.1 million pounds for the performance.
The venue has yet to be decided but the gig will be 45 minutes long and take place somewhere in the UK.
Elaine says she has followed the band 'since the beginning', and is also a collector of Take That memorabilia, such as this Gary Barlow cut-out.
Gary even popped in to the studio to meet presenters Jess and Rob.
