Firefighters tackly early morning van blaze in town centre

A van burst into flames in Jersey's town centre early this morning.

Just before 7am the Fire Service received multiple calls about a vehicle well alight outside Minden Place car park.

There were concerns the fire could spread to vehicles and houses nearby.

Two fire engines attended to control the situation and one firefighter managed to put out the fire with a hose.
