Jersey Marathon winner narrowly misses out on record

The winner of this years Jersey Marathon has completed the course in 2:18:26, 13 seconds shy off the record.

Aleksy Troshkin won today's race making it two wins in a row for the Russian.

James Faudemer was the first island runner to cross the line.

It is the first time he has attempted run in the competition.
