The man who will replace the late Seigneur of Sark will arrive in the island today.
88-year-old Michael Beaumont OBE passed away unexpectedly on Sunday from a suspected heart attack.
His son, Major Christopher Beaumont, has inherited the title and will take over from his late father.
Mr Beaumont served in the role for more than 40 years.
His funeral will be held tomorrow at 1.30pm at St Peter's Church.
The weekend event coincides with International Pride Month and the 51st anniversary of the Stonewall riots.
The scheme has been backed by the island's Lieutenant-Governor, and is the first of its kind in the Channel Islands.
