The independent inquiry into Guernsey's Health Department's investigation of an Alderney Doctor has found that the way the government department reacted was "deeply flawed."
Dr Rory Lyons was investigated, and cleared, by the police and the General Medical Council over the death for four patients last year.
Guernsey Airport has been closed this afternoon, following what is being described as ‘a minor incident.’
18 people had to be evacuated from a Dornier 228 after an engine warning light came on and, as a result, a decision was made to close the airport.
The closure lasted around half an hour and the airport re-opened at 4pm.
