Body found on Jersey beach

An investigation has begun after a body has been found on a Jersey beach.

Police were called at 5.30am to St Ouen beach this morning. (Monday 18th January).

The death is not believed to be suspicious but it is standard practice for an investigation to begin on behalf of the Deputy Viscount.

Police say the body is not believed to be that of missing Jerseyman Adrian Lynch.
