Aurigny to stop route-sharing Guernsey to Jersey flights

Aurigny will not be route-sharing any inter-island flights between Guernsey and Jersey following the announcement Blue Islands and Aurigny will cease their inter-island code share agreement after mid March 2016.

Code-sharing enables passengers to book a seat with Aurigny for a Blue Islands flight.

In a joint statement released today, the companies say the inter-island service will continue to be operated by Blue Islands.

The code share agreement started just under two years ago in March 2014.

Any passengers booked with Aurigny to fly to Jersey or Guernsey between 17 March and 26 March will be re‐booked automatically onto a Blue Islands flight and contacted by Aurigny to confirm this. Aurigny passengers who have made a booking after 27 March to fly to Guernsey or Jersey will be contacted by Aurigny and given the option of being re‐booked onto a Blue Islands flight, or offered a full refund. Customers can contact Aurigny on 01481 822886.
