Search for missing Jerseyman

A coordinated search between the emergency services took place in Jersey in December 2015 to look for a 20-year-old man who disappeared after a work night out.

Eight months later a body was recovered from a reservoir, near to where Adrian Lynch went missing. Adrian's passport was in the jacket on the body.

Adrian left friends at a work party at midnight on Friday 4th December and got into a taxi to go home.

The last known sighting of him was in the early hours of Saturday morning (5th) in the area of Bon Air Stables.

Land search for Adrian Lynch is 'unprecedented' for Jersey

Jersey Police have called the land search for missing electrician Adrian Lynch 'unprecedented.'

The 20-year-old hasn't been seen for four weeks after going missing following a work Christmas Party on Friday 4th December.

Thousands of man hours have have been spent looking for him in and around the area he was last seen in in St Lawrence.

Active searching has now stopped, but Detective Superintendent Stewart Gull says efforts went beyond what has ever been done before.

Officers have outlined 250 lines of inquiry in the case, with 170 still outstanding. They have also been to 500 hours and collected CCTV from 35 different premises.
