Police are looking to speak to a man and young girl after they attended an animal rescue area in Guernsey where a Guinea Pig was later found dead.

After they left the owner found chickens and Guinea Pigs, normally kept separate, had been locked in the same pen.

One of the Guinea Pigs was found dead.

It happened at a property on Rue De La Ronde Cheminee, Castel on the evening of Wednesday 26th August.

Police are unsure whether the incident was accidental and would like to speak to the man involved.

Anyone with information should contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or Guernsey Police.
