Swimming: Butcher almost reduced to tears after winning gold

Guernsey's Courtney Butcher told ITV News she almost started crying after winning gold in the women's 100m backstroke.

The Sarnian held of the challenge of Izabella Blacklock from the Isle of Wight to top the podium with a time of 1:03.13.

She said the atmosphere from the crowd had carried her through to gold but after the race she couldn't look at her mum for fear of bursting into tears.
