Record number of people complete Jersey's Half Marathon
A record number of people completed this year's Jersey Half Marathon.
527 people competed in the race, which is the highest amount in its history.
Paul Piper came in fastest for the men in 1 hour and fourteen minutes. He recently completed the London Marathon and it was his first time in Jersey.
The fastest woman was Rebecca Thompson, a Jersey local who has now completed her third half marathon.
The route which began at St Ouen's Parish Hall went along the five mile road and then round to St Aubin's Bay before ending up at La Fregate in St Helier.
Organiser of the race Digby Ellis-Brecknell, has said after having a few sleepless nights to plan the race, he is now having a well-deserved rest.
