Runners compete in Jersey's Half Marathon

Runners have taken part in Jersey's Half Marathon today with many people raising money for charities and good causes.

Up to 680 people are thought to have taken part in the 13 mile race which began at St Ouen's Parish hall and finished at La Fregate in St Helier.

Organisers have said water was available for participants at stations along the route with warm conditions throughout.

Despite forecasters predicting temperatures would reach highs of 20°C in Jersey, much of the day was cloudy and overcast.
