Products made by inmates at Guernsey Prison are on sale, after a new wooden showroom has opened.

Items include wooden furniture, bespoke clocks as well as other arts and crafts.

The charity, Creative Learning in Prison (CLIP), has been helping inmates' access to learning through art, craft and trade skills.

Many of the prisoners, whose products are available, are working towards a City and Guilds qualification in vocational skills, including basic carpentry.

It's hoped teaching new skills will encourage them into a trade they can put into practice upon release and reduce reoffending rates.

Money raised from the sales will go back to CLIP to fund the educational activities they provide, such as photography workshops and craft classes.
