Morrisons is coming to the Channel Islands

The UK supermarket chain Morrisons is coming to the Channel Islands.

SandpiperCI has announced a new franchise agreement with the company.

It will mean all the company's mini-supermarket Food Halls will become 'Morrisons Daily' stores, selling own-brand products along with other popular brands.

The company says this will result in lower prices for customers.

The move is also set to create about 100 new jobs and will involve a seven figure store-upgrade programme which will start in late spring.
