Guernsey Deputy resigns from Health Committee

Deputy Joe Mooney has resigned as a member of Guernsey's Committee for Health and Social Care.

Mr Mooney told ITV News he has decided to step down to allow him to dedicate his efforts to the Committee for Economic Development, of which he is also a member.

He said it was a "difficult decision" but he believes Health is now "on the right track".

The States of Guernsey are now looking to replace him on the Committee for Health and Social Care.
