The standard of living in Jersey has gone down.

The States Statistics Unit have told ITV News it's declined by more than a sixth over the past decade.

Last year the standard of living for people in the island dropped by 0.3% That's despite the economy growing by 1%

The reason the standard of living has gone down, despite the upsurge in the economy, is that the population grew by more than the economic did, rising by 1.5%

Banking continues to be the biggest business sector, generating £860 million last year.
