Guernsey States finalise same-sex marriage law
The final part of Guernsey's same sex marriage legislation has been approved at the States this morning.
It means the law will come into effect on 2nd May and with a special one day licence, the first marriage can be held on 4th May.
Politicians voted in favour of the move in September.
The proposition was passed 33 votes to 5.
