Jersey beat Alderney in thrilling Muratti semi
Jersey are through to the Muratti final after beating Alderney 2-1, with all three goals coming in second-half injury time.
Underdogs Alderney were the better side over the ninety minutes, but Jack Cannon gave Jersey the lead late on with a well-taken free-kick.
Just seconds later, Alderney scored their first goal in a Muratti for four years, as Sol Bower equalised for the home side on his debut in the competition.
But, with celebrations in the home crowd just fading, Kieran Lester broke clear to win it for Jersey.
Alderney have not won a Muratti match since 1920, but their improving side have now lost by just one goal in each of the last two years.
