Group formed to inform public on Alderney power cable project
Alderney residents, who are concerned about a power cable coming ashore in the island, have formed a group to keep the public informed about the project.
The FAB electricity project - between France and Britain - will use Alderney as a connection point to pump electricity generated from tidal power across Channel.
The cable project has been described as the 'most significant threat to the island since World War 2.'
