Car fire in Guernsey's Genats Estate

Guernsey Fire Service were called to the Genats Estate this afternoon after a van was engulfed in flames.

The emergency services received an emergency call just after 3pm this afternoon.

It's suspected the fire was caused by an electrical fault but a full investigation is being carried out to determine the cause.

The blaze was extinguished within an hour of the fire service arriving at the scene.
