Tommy Spinks signs for Jersey RFC

Jersey RFC have signed back row Tommy Spinks from Guinness Pro 12 finalists Glasgow Warriors.

He joins the first eleven squad for the 2015/16 campaign.

Tommy Spinks:

• Born in Edinburgh

• Captained Scottish Under 20s in last year's Junior World Cup

• Two seasons with London Scottish

• Then returned north of the border to the Scottish Rugby Academy

• Made his Pro 12 debut for Glasgow Warriors against Munster, this February

• Won the Melrose Sevens with Glasgow Warriors

The Jersey squad will begin training in June, ahead of pre-season matches against Welsh Pro 12 region Scarlets on 15 August and English National 1 club Blackheath on 22 August.
