Jersey Heritage offer islanders chance to learn more about their family history
Jersey Heritage are now offering people who are keen to discover more about their Jersey family history the chance to view unique documents and records online.
Jersey Archive have uploaded images of its entire collection of registration cards from the occupation of Jersey during World War II.
The Occupation Registration Cards consist of approximately 61,000 records and offer a unique pictorial record of over 30,000 people who lived in the island during the occupation.
There are now more than 310,000 records and other items catalogued online that you can view here.
Of the 30,000 plus Occupation Registration Cards, many well-known Jersey surnames are represented. The 10 surnames with the most occurrences amongst the records are listed below:
