A special visit from the Princess Royal

Islanders in Jersey welcomed Princess Anne on her 22nd visit to the Bailiwick today.

The Princess Royal arrived this morning with a busy schedule of engagements for the day.

She began the day by officially opening the new Jersey Youth Service facilities at St James Centre.

She then moved to the Hotel de France to meet members of the Royal Air Forces Association and sign their visitors book.

She ended her visit at Durrell Wildlife Park to unveil a plaque for the commemorations marking the year Gerald Durrell would have celebrated his 90th Birthday.
