Volunteers wanted to inspect Guernsey's prison
More volunteers are needed to help monitor the prison, its staff and inmates say leaders of Guernsey Prison's Independent Monitoring Panel.
Volunteers go into the prison and listen to inmates complaints and concerns as well as inspecting the building and then report them back to the board.
Chair of the panel, Wendy Meade, said an independent body visiting the prison was important and a broad range of issues were covered during her visits.
