Lorry fire closes M6 slip at Catthorpe Interchange

A lorry fire has closed the northbound slip road onto the M6 at the Catthorpe Interchange on the M1.

Highways England has tweeted this dramatic picture of the recovery operation.

It says all the other links at the junction are open, but the closure is expected to cause delays for those heading to and through the Midlands.
