Man's body found in Worcestershire village

An investigation is underway after the body of a man was found in a village in Worcestershire.

West Mercia Police said the body was discovered by a member of the public on Middle Lane in Wythall at around 10am on Thursday.

A large section of the lane has been closed off, the force added.

The circumstances surrounding the man's death are being investigated and officers are working to identify him and contact his next of kin.
