Storm Barney hits the Midlands: Tower blown over in Birmingham
The tower at the Fort Shopping Centre in Birmingham has blown over into the car park as wind speeds in excess of 50 and 60mph hit the region.
Damage across the Midlands after Storm Barney strikes
The clean up is underway after damage was caused in gales caused by Storm Barney last night.
Viewers Brian Cooper and Laura Arrowsmith took these shots of a large tree brought down across Mellish Road in Aldridge.
