Storm Barney hits the Midlands: Tower blown over in Birmingham
The tower at the Fort Shopping Centre in Birmingham has blown over into the car park as wind speeds in excess of 50 and 60mph hit the region.

With wind speeds in excess of 60mph in some parts of the Midlands, some damage to property has been reported, including at the Fort Shopping Centre in Birmingham.
Photographs have emerged showing the tower has blown over into the car park.
Fortunately there are no reports of any injuries at the scene.
