M6 Southbound shut and delays after lorry catches fire

The M6 Southbound is closed after a lorry carrying rubber and tyres caught fire.

It was shut shortly after 6am between J2 (M69 / A46) and J1 A426 (Rugby). Lanes two and three have reopened however lane one is still closed.

It's causing congestion on M6 to J3a M6 Toll. Travel time is 30 minutes.

Drivers are being warned to avoid the area and diversions are in place.
