Final preparations are taking place this evening for the opening of Birmingham New Street station tomorrow.
After a five-year build, the complete new station will be used by passengers for the first time in the morning.
The builders will hand over the keys to the station manager at 7.30am. He will then open the front doors, giving passengers full access to the new station for the first time.
Tonight, 450 workers will be carrying out the final touches to the station, completing the removal of 500 tonnes of hoarding, which began on Friday.
Those boards previously divided the old part of the station from the new, which opened to the public in April 2013, while the rest of the old station was demolished.
Mark Carne, the Chief Executive of Network Rail, believes the public will be thrilled with the transformation when they see it for the first time tomorrow.
