What women want: female voters tell ITV News Central their General Election demands

Sameena has been chatting to female voters in the Midlands.

More than 9 million women didn't vote last time round. So, it's no surprise that the politicians will spend the next few weeks slugging it out to try to encourage them to take part - particularly in the marginal seats where just a few votes could make all the difference.

Dr Rose Gann from Nottingham Trent University, says that the current structure of Parliament is a cause for concern, and could be putting women off engaging in politics.

There's still plenty of time for women to make up their minds - but what does get us fired up? Sameena has been chatting to a female netball team, and hears from some first time voters at a school in Worcestershire.
