Appeal for sexual abuse victims at former children's home
An appeal has been launched for anyone who may have been sexually abused at a former children's home to come forward.
An investigation is being carried out into Roecliffe Manor, in Woodhouse Eaves, Charnwood following the publication of an NHS report into alleged abuse at the premises and after allegations surfaced during an investigation into Jimmy Savile abuse claims.
Roecliffe Manor closed as a convalescent home in 1969 and the investigation was launched in June this year.
They also want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed abuse taking place or who has information about sexual abuse at the premises.
