Final trackwork has been completed on tram line

The final piece of track on the new tram line to Beeston and Chilwell in Nottingham has been laid.

Work to build the tracks began more than a year and a half ago and businesses along the line said they were struggling to cope with the disruption.

The new service opens to the public next year.
