Officers were called to an area of the River Witham near High Street at 9.20am this morning, after a member of the public saw a body in the water.
The body was recovered from the water with help from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue.
Police believe they know the identity of the man, who is thought to be in his 20s, and have contacted his family, but a formal identification has not yet taken place.
