Princess Diana's last official letter is to go under the hammer today at an auction in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter.
The head of antiques at Fellows Auctioneers, Mark Huddlestone, said it was an 'important historical document'. It is expected to sell for up to £3,000.
The letter is moving not only because of its heartfelt message but also because it would have been the last ever written by her.
