Fans boycott Coventry City

Thousand of fans are expected to boycott Coventry City's first 'home' fixture to be played out of the city for 130 years. The club will play fixtures at Northampton's Sixfields stadium after leaving the Ricoh because of a row over rent arrears.

MEP blames Football League for failing Coventry's fans

West Midlands MEP Nikki Sinclaire is still hopeful Coventry Football club can be saved from liquidation even at this late stage.

Speaking to ITV News Central earlier today , she accused the Football League of not standing by its motto of "real football, real fans", as she feels they have been let down throughout the whole process.
