Detectives investigating the stabbing of a woman in Stirchley yesterday have released a picture of a man they would like to speak to.
Leon Harrison, aged 33, from Kings Heath is believed to have left the scene in a silver coloured car after a woman was stabbed in Pershore Road at around 2pm.
Harrison is known to often be in Selly Oak, Kings Heath and Lickey Hills. He is described as 6’2”, heavily built, with four gold canine teeth.
Anyone who spots Harrison, who has a distinctive panther tattoo on his right arm and a large cross on his lower left arm, or know of his whereabouts should not approach him, but should contact police urgently on 999.
Harrison is believed to be known to the victim who underwent surgery after her ordeal yesterday. The 31-year-old, in the early stages of pregnancy, remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
