Up to one hundred thousand people are expected in Birmingham this weekend for the Pride Festival.
Now in it's 17th year, the UK's largest gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender event started with a carnvival parade to Hurst Street where Boyband JLS will headline a show this evening.
The festival continues tomorrow. Gay marraige campaigner Peter Tatchell led the procession in Victoria Square.
