Wonky donkey has front legs set in cast
An equine vets has has admitted its smallest ever patient – Primrose, the premature Donkey Foal.
Primrose was born prematurely which meant the bones in her legs are not fully developed.
Vets Kate Maxwell and ZofiaLisowski at Bind Equine have had to set her two front legs in casts to support her bodyweight until they grow strong enough to hold her up.
Kate commented: “Even in the few days that Primrose has been with us we’ve seen a great improvement in her condition – we’re confident she’ll make a full recovery".
