Study shows pregnant women can have chemotherapy

A study published today has found that pregnant women who develop breast cancer can have chemotherapy, without endangering the life of their unborn child.

The week after Johanne Powell found out she was pregnant, she was told she had breast cancer, and had to decide between her health and her baby's health.

She chose both, and the outcome was a happy one.
