It happened just before 8am at a bridge on Dysart Road on the A1. A section of the commuter road is closed between the A52 for Grantham North and the A607 for Harlaxton.

Drivers are being urged to follow road diversions.

Highways England has said the A1 near Grantham in Lincolnshire is likely to remain closed for several hours after a three lorry crash.

They are asking people to plan ahead as there are long queues building up between the A52 and the A607 junctions.
