Whistleblower says she tried to stop care home abuse
A whistleblower who worked at a care home where 11 former workers were arrested yesterday on suspicion of manslaughter has told ITV News she tried to stop the abuse.
The woman, who asked to remain anonymous for fear of reprisals, said there was a "culture of neglect" at the residential home in Nottingham.

Eleven bailed over care home resident death
Eleven people have been released on bail as part of the ongoing investigation into the death of a former care home resident in Nottinghamshire.
Ivy Atkin, 86, died on Thursday 22 November 2012, shortly after she had been moved following the closure of Autumn Grange care home in Sherwood Rise.
Three men aged 77, 44, and 37, and three women aged 52, 25, and 29, were released on bail after they were questioned on suspicion of manslaughter.
Last night (Tuesday 13 August) two men, aged 56 and 64, and three women, aged 19, 20 and 28, were also released on bail over the same inquiry.
Police continue investigation into Ivy's death
Six people are still being questioned by Police following the death of an elderly woman shortly after she was moved from a Nottingham care home.
86 year old Ivy Atkin died in last November soon after being moved from from the Autumn Grange residential home in Sherwood Rise, when it suddenly closed down.
Nottinghamshire Police arrested 11 people on suspicion of manslaughter and five of them have now been released on bail pending further inquiries .

Nottinghamshire Police says an investigation into the standard of care provided to residents at Autumn Grange is also under way.

Eleven people have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter of an elderly woman at a Nottingham Care Home. Eight-six year old Ivy Atkin died shortly after the closure of Autumn Grange Residential Home last year.
The home was being used by Nottingham City Council residents, and specialised in the care of dementia. The local authority, the health watchdog and the police are continuing to investigate its standards of care. Gareth Owen reports.

Nottingham Council have said that they are undertaking a Serious Case Review involving a range of partner agencies to look into the circumstances surrounding the death of Ivy Atkin, who died shortly after leaving the Autumn Grange care home.

The eleven will be questioned today by detectives.
The eleven include five men aged 37, 44, 56, 64 and 77, and six women aged 19, 20, 25, 28, 29 and 52.
They have all been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter as part of the inquiry.
