Birmingham City Council statement on street litter

St Saviour's Road is a known hotspot for flytipping. When any problems are brought to our attention, we ensure they are dealt with as quickly as possible.

In terms of general litter, it must be noted that refuse collections and street cleaning services were suspended on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. The streets in that area were due a collection on Christmas Day and that would have normally been followed by a visit from street cleaners on Boxing Day. The way Christmas fell this year meant this area was missed out for a week, but regular services resumed this week.
