Two bodies found inside bungalow

Police have confirmed two bodies have been found inside a bungalow in Leicester.

A large police presence was on the scene from around midday on Friday at the property in Rayleigh Way, off Rayleigh Green, in the Netherhall area.

Police confirmed that following concerns reported to them, officers went to the address and found two bodies inside.

A Leicestershire Police spokeswoman said: "Their deaths are currently being treated as unexplained. Enquiries are being carried out surrounding the circumstances of their deaths."

Neighbours at the scene claimed the bungalow was home to an elderly couple who have lived there for about 18 months.
