Police refuse to comment on claim goat removed from explosives property

West Midlands Police has refused to comment on claims that a goat was removed from a house in Coventry on Wednesday (25 April), where a bomb disposal team was drafted in.

A cordon remains in place around a house in Brookside Avenue, where a small number of homes were evacuated on Tuesday.

Police have also declined to comment on the nature of suspicious items found at the address.

A 20-year-old man arrested under the Explosives Act has been freed pending further investigations.
