Latest artist confirmed for Commonwealth Games handover ceremony

Birmingham-based artist Amerah Saleh has been confirmed as the latest artist taking part in the official Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022 handover ceremony.

The spoken word poet will join film maker Daniel Alexander, rapper Lady Sanity and choreographer Rosie Kay.

The global televised audience is estimated as one billion people.

Young people aged 16-25 have until 23:59 on Wednesday 21st March to sign up to be a part of a mass participation dance in Birmingham which will form part of the live celebrations.
